Deposits, Cancellation, and No Show Policy
- When making a reservation, we require a deposit equal to your first night’s stay.
- As a moderately sized inn, cancellations affect us greatly. Should you cancel more than 14 days prior to arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus a $35 administration fee.
- Should you cancel within 14 days of arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.
- No shows and early departures will be charged the full amount of the stay.
- Deposits for weddings and events are non-refundable.
- Spa Treatments: Cancellations require 24 hours in advance or the full rate of the treatment will apply.
Travel Insurance
Because our accommodations are limited and cancellations can impact other guests’ plans, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment. For your convenience, Glen Gordon Manor offers TravelSafe Insurance as an optional add-on during the online booking process.
If you choose to purchase travel insurance, please note:
- Travel insurance is a contract between you (the guest) and TravelSafe Insurance. Glen Gordon Manor is not the insurance provider and cannot determine claim eligibility or issue reimbursements.
- Our standard cancellation policy still applies regardless of whether insurance is purchased. If a reservation must be canceled, it will be processed according to our cancellation policy, and any reimbursement requests should be submitted directly to TravelSafe.
- If you book by phone or would like to add coverage after making your reservation, you can contact TravelSafe directly through their website or by calling (800) 523-8020.
- Travel insurance availability may vary based on your state of residence.

Daily: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Please let us know if you will be checking in after 6 pm.

Dinner Reservations
Fine dining is an integral part of our guest experience, so please note that one dinner reservation at our Houndstooth Restaurant is a requirement for all stays that include a Friday and/or Saturday night. Our restaurant is closed for dinner on Tuesdays.
Guaranteed Early Check-In
Extend your Glen Gordon Manor experience with guaranteed early check-in, available between 12 pm – 2 pm for an additional $50 fee. Please note your arrival time when booking online or ask for early check-in when you make a reservation by phone.
Additional Guests & Children
Room rates are based on double occupancy for guests 16 years and older. Two additional guests are possible only in the two-bedroom Wakefield Suite, for a total occupancy of 4 guests. There is a fee of $100 per additional guest.
Given the historic nature of the property, including high-end antique furnishings and curated art collections, the Manor is not well-suited for children under 16 years of age.
Smoking Policy
Glen Gordon Manor is a non-smoking property.
Pets
We do not permit pets on Manor Grounds. If you are traveling with a canine companion we can refer you to reputable and caring facilities where they may enjoy their own accommodations.
Breakfast
- We serve breakfast in the dining room from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
- Breakfast is included in the additional guest fee.
- If you wish to invite outside guests to join you for breakfast, the charge is $39 per person.
Gift Certificates
Please notify us if you are visiting Glen Gordon Manor with a gift certificate or voucher. We still need a credit card on file, although no charges will be applied until after your visit.
