It’s easily one of the state’s most iconic attractions and we highly recommend it while you’re here! We are only 13-minutes away from the start of the drive on the north side so you don’t have to worry about getting there. Pack a lunch and find a fantastic place to stop, admire the view, and take it all in.

The Shenandoah Valley is an ideal place for hiking with plenty of well-maintained trails and difficulty levels for every kind of hiker. Whether this is your first outing or another in a lifetime of trails, these hikes offer panoramic views of the valley, cascading waterfalls, and a variety of terrain to tackle along the way. Trails like White Oak Canyon and Little Devil’s Stairs all have something that makes them unique, so be sure to bring a camera and get ready for a fun-filled day of hiking.
